Children's books
By the end of the 1990s, children’s books represented 67% of new Welsh language titles. In 1969 Sali Mali, one of the most famous characters in Welsh children’s literature, made her first appearance. Later, characters such as Rala Rwdins by Angharad Tomos began entertaining children in books and on the small screen.
