Dylan Thomas (1914–1953)
Dylan Thomas is the most famous Anglo-Welsh poet and one of the twentieth century’s principal literary figures. He gained recognition in 1934 with the publication of a volume entitled 18 poems. One of Dylan Thomas’ most famous works is the radio play Under Milk Wood, which he completed in 1953. Tragically, he died before its first broadcast by the BBC in January 1954.
