Literature: 'Enoc Huws' manuscript
Draft manuscript of the novel Profedigaethau Enoc Huws by Daniel Owen. Several characters are based on the people he knew in his home town of Mold. The novel was published monthly in the magazine Y Cymro, whilst another novel, Rhys Lewis similarly appeared in the periodical Y Drysorfa (The Treasury). Owen’s works were particularly popular during the 19th century.
