Centenary of the Rebecca Riots: Letter about the capture of some of the Rebecca rioters

A letter written by Captain Napier on 11 September 1843 informing the Marquis of Bute of the capture of three of Rebecca’s daughters as they wrecked the Pontarddulais gate. Four were later captured in Carmarthenshire. This incident occurred at the height of the unrest in south and west Wales.
