Centenary of the Rebecca Riots: Letter discussing the case of Sioni Sgubor Fawr
This letter, dated 26 December 1846, from Thomas Attwood to the Marquis of Bute notes the conviction of John Jones, or Sioni Sgubor Fawr, at Carmarthen Court for participating in the Rebecca riots. Jones was one of three convicted and deported to Australia.
