Mystic powers: Spell from Glyn Ceiriog
To prevent spells being cast on their animals it was common to have charms or spells to guard against any form of witchcraft. This charm was discovered under a beam at Gelli Bach farmhouse, Glyn Ceiriog, in 1930. The house had been unoccupied for over 50 years, and the charm is thought to have been written about 1800.
