Thomas Pennant (1726-98)
Thomas Pennant was a prolific author of tour books and works on natural history. The Library acquired a collection of his works between 1910 and 1913: these included the extra-illustrated versions of A Tour in Wales, (1778–1783), decorated with watercolours by Moses Griffith and John Ingleby.
